Some public hospitals will require agency nurses to also become employees of their Local Health District, and therefore you may be required to complete an ‘employment package’. Health On Call will notify you if this is the case. Health On Call will continue to be your agency and all shifts will be booked via Health On Call. These Hospitals will therefore be responsible for your superannuation, taxation, workers compensation, payslips, as you will be under their ‘direction’.

 

You will still be required to wear your own uniform, and wear the Health On Call identification badge. You will be required to notify Health On Call if there are changes to your booking availability, or if you have agreed to do extra shifts the hospital has asked of you.
